Filming continues Joker: Folie à Deuxthe sequel to Todd Field’s film starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
Just Lady Gaga has attracted attention in recent weeks, appearing on set in the role of Harley Quinn. So far, we haven’t seen her wearing clothes that reference the iconic DC anti-hero, but today several images of the pop star on set in Newark, New Jersey, wearing a “reworked” Harley Quinn costume, with a red blazer and a diamond knit.
We know very little about the film, except that it will be a musical (hence, perhaps, the involvement of Gaga). In the photos we see Harley being taken to court by policemen, surrounded by a crowd of supporters. One even displays a “Marry Me” sign, while two have pink and orange flags.
It seems that filming will move over the weekend in front of the Manhattan courthouse and will involve up to 700 extras, with explosions and special effects.
