Once again this year Sky Cinema is the home of the Oscars® and to celebrate the eagerly awaited appointment with the 95th edition of the Academy Awards®, it is dedicating an entire channel to the best of Oscar®-winning cinematography. For two weeks, from Saturday 4 to Friday 17 March Sky Cinema Collection (channel 303) becomes Sky Cinema Oscar®, with over 100 titles awarded in previous editions, including four from the 2022 edition, and three first-run films among those competing in 2023.
Not to be missed, on Monday 13 March, the premiere ELVIS (9.15 pm on Sky Cinema Uno and 11.00 pm on Sky Cinema Oscar®) the musical biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann, starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, and nominated for five statuettes in 2023: best film, best leading actor, best editing, best production design and best cinematography. While the first visions will arrive on Saturday 4 and Thursday 9 March LIVING (21.15 on Sky Cinema Due and in the late evening on Sky Cinema Oscar®) with Bill Nighy nominated for best actor and Kazuo Ishiguro for adapted screenplay, and CLOSE (21.15 on Sky Cinema Due and in the late evening on Sky Cinema Oscar®), nominated for the Oscars® 2023 as best international film.
