The official trailer has been released Love & Death for the upcoming miniseries True Crime Of HBO Max, with Elizabeth Olsen as an ordinary suburban housewife who becomes a murderer after killing her neighbor with an axe. The limited drama will be available to stream in the US on April 27.

The video features Candy Montgomery played by Elizabeth Olsen as she begins an affair with her friend’s husband in an attempt to bring excitement into her life. However, this relationship eventually takes a dark turn after her friend is brutally murdered. Check out the trailer by Love & Death below:

The tv series Love & Death

Love & Death will center on two couples who go to church and enjoy family life in a small Texas town, until someone picks up an axe. It is based on the book titled Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs and a collection of articles by Texas Monthly (“Love & Death in Silicon Prairie”, Part I & II).

The miniseries stars Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Vision) as Candy Montgomery, Jesse Plemons (Jungle Cruise) as Allan Gore, Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) as Betty Gore, Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) as Sherry Cleckler, Patrick Fugit (Outcasts) as Pat Montgomery, Keir Gilchrist (agraphical) as Pastor Ron Adams, Elizabeth Marvel (House of Cards) as Pastor Jackie Ponder and Tom Pelphrey (ozark) as Don Crowder.

Love & Death is written and executive produced by David E. Kelley ( The Undoing ) through his David E. Kelly Productions, with Lesli Linka Glatter ( Mad Men ) to direct. Executive producers are Glatter, Nicole Kidman and Per Saari through Blossom Films, Scott Brown and Megan Creydt through Texas Monthly, Matthew Tinker, Michael Klick and Helen Verno. Lionsgate will produce the limited series.
