FIP Star Gran Canaria: the end of adventure for our French

At the start of this FIP Star Gran Canaria there were 9 French. Unfortunately, none of them managed to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Maxim Moro and his Spanish teammate Joaquime Florenza Hernandez he managed to reach the second round after 6/2 6/4 victories over Spaniards Antolin Solla and Cato Calvo. In the second round, the Franco-Spanish duo got the executioners Kansel and Reichman. Once again, the 2nd seed in the tournament imposes his law and imposes himself on the score 6/2 6/2.

No miracles even among ladies

After qualifying for Laura Buteau and Marie Amelie Darden against Spaniards Carla Pozuelo and Ana Cristina Sanchez 4/6 6/2 6/0, in the first round of FIP Star Gran Canaria only 4 French women remained.

Like Elodie and Wendy Melissa Martin and her Portuguese teammate Bruna Melo at first they won the first round in their confrontation, but in the end they were surprised by rivals Aitana Garcia (152nd in the FIP rating) and Katarina Santos (159th in the FIP rating), who prevailed 4/6 6/3 6/0.

Only the French-Spanish duo Tuli/Rosa Vadillo made it to the second round of the Stella FIP Gran Canaria.. After beating Armas Gonzalez/Díaz-Saavedras 7/6 6/4, Carla and Lucia find the tournament’s 7th seed, Noemi Aguilar (79th in the FIP rankings) and Letizia Manquillo Alarda (75th in the FIP rankings). This time, Carla Tuli and Lucia Rosa Vadillo failed to get through, losing in straight sets 6/3 6/1.
