World of Warcraft Charity Pet Kit to Support BlueCheck Ukraine

BlueCheck Ukraine, co-founded by actor and activist Liev Schreiber in 2022, identifies, verifies and provides emergency funding to Ukrainian NGOs helping initiatives that provide vital humanitarian aid that can save lives on the ground in Russia’s war against Ukraine. They are on site, they know the local reality and they can help those who are experiencing the most difficulties … but they themselves need help. To support their efforts, Blizzard Entertainment has teamed up with Ukrainian-born actress and producer Mila Kunis to create a Ukraine mascot set from World of Warcraft.

From July 25 to August 29, male and female players will be able to connect to World of Warcraft or go to the Battle.net store and purchase the exclusive Ukrainian Pet Bundle for $20. All proceeds will go to support BlueCheck’s work to support the victims of the war.

The people of Ukraine are in desperate need of help and BlueCheck is doing an incredible job of quickly providing resources to local organizations such as medical assistance, humanitarian aid and more. The World of Warcraft community is the first gaming community I’ve ever been a part of, made up of strangers who didn’t care who I was or what I did. I know how generous they can be and what we can achieve when we work together. I am proud that together with them I can change countless lives in Ukraine for the better.

Mila Kunis says

Since the start of the war in Ukraine over a year ago, the need for humanitarian aid and support has been constant. BlueCheck directly supports trusted NGOs who do their jobs where needed, and we are grateful to the World of Warcraft community for their support and help. BlueCheck allows us to make a significant contribution to the lives of the brave and resilient people of Ukraine, and every dollar donated from the purchase of the Ukraine Mascot Package will allow us to continue this work.

said BlueCheck co-founder Liev Schreiber.

World of Warcraft is a global community of male and female players who support each other both inside and outside of the game. This is our chance to make a contribution that will make a huge difference. Thanks to our generous players, both men and women, our mascot-making charities have raised millions of dollars over the years helping those in need, and the victims of the war in Ukraine certainly need our help right now. I know that our incredible community will not hesitate to proudly display their mascots across Azeroth, knowing that their donations go to the rescue work that BlueCheck Ukraine is doing.

Holly Longdale, Executive Producer of World of Warcraft, said.

The set of mascots of Ukraine includes two mascots in the colors of the Ukrainian flag:
Little Flower, golden retriever mascot for World of Warcraft characters;
Flarks, a murloc mascot with a sunflower (Ukraine’s national flower symbol) for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic characters;
For the duration of the Ukraine Pet Pack initiative, players will also be able to donate a free amount to BlueCheck Ukraine on Battle.net when making a digital purchase in World of Warcraft: this is a voluntary donation for those who want to support the initiative without purchasing the Ukraine Pet Pack.
