How to create a training plan in Apple Fitness+?

This new way of planning our workouts allows us to choose the days of the week we want to train, the amount of time we want to spend, the type of physical activity, the music, the coach, and the level of our primary physical goal.

How to create a personalized training plan in Apple Fitness+?

As a start, We had to make sure our iPhone was updated to iOS 17 and our Apple Watch was updated to watchOS 10. Once we’ve made sure our equipment is up to date, it’s time to look at how to create these training programs. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Open the Fitness app on your iPhone or iPad and tap the Fitness+ button in the bottom middle of the screen.
  • in part personalized training select option Make your plan.
  • Choose your weekly plan, the total amount of time you want to be physically active each day and the duration of the plan.
  • Choose the type of activity you want to do.

You will now see that each training session can be selected in more detail according to the day of the week. You can also adjust other preferences such as Choose your favorite trainer or the music you want to listen to while training.

  • At the top you can also choose The date you want to start planning.
  • When ready, click making plans

Your plan is now created and should appear at the top of the screen. There you can view your schedule, rename it and see what your next class is.

Can multiple custom plans be created at the same time?

The answer is no. Unfortunately this option is not yet available, Although we don’t believe Apple will take long to integrate it. Currently only one custom training plan can be created, but it would be nice to have multiple training plans.

It occurred to me that in addition to the “Core” and “Kickboxing” training programs, I could add another program related to meditation and yoga. It can even be fun to create personalized training plans that are personal and others shared with friends or family.

Apple continues to bet on health and well-being

Various Apple devices and services are receiving an increasing number of new features and improvements related to health, well-being and physical activity. Apple Fitness+ has been with us since December 2020 It hasn’t stopped putting together news, whether it’s new classes, coaches, different types of sports and physical activities, and now personalized training plans.

Of course, this new feature could benefit many users who need daily training but were unsure how to track it on a daily basis until now.
