Exceptional and unforgettable are the last two events of “Musica in Periferia”, a historic music festival in which 4 shows have been created this year, from musicals to Italian songwriting, from international pop to film music, organized by Soundiff – Diffrazioni Sonore, now in its 10th edition by 2023, which aims to revive urban “suburbs”, non-places, turning them into cultural principles through the distribution and listening of music.
The periphery of the city becomes a privileged “stage”, giving rise to a socio-intercultural exploration and a series of interactive musical performances that converge in “Music in the Periphery”.
A unique musical event of its kind created under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture FUS (United Fund for Living Entertainment) of the Apulia region and under the patronage of the municipality of Barletta. Following the incredible success of the Musica al Castello concerts, and in particular the Concerto dell’Aurora, held in the impressive bastion of Barletta Castle, where the Soundiff Youth Orchestra performed music, the world premiere of Federico’s Eliogia took place.
