David Fincher landed in Venice 80 with his new feature film called Murdererand the official poster was recently released along with the trailer for the movie that will be participating in the event.

As a reminder, Venice 80 will also feature Denis Villeneuve’s feature film Dune: Part Two, Ridley Scott’s new film Napoleon, and Martin Scorsese’s production of The Killers of the Flower Moon with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The story of The Assassin centers on a professional assassin who faces an existential crisis. The main characters of the film are Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton. The script was written by Andrew Kevin Walker, who worked on the adaptation of the comic book by Alexis Nolent, based on which the “Killer” is based.

David Fincher worked on this adaptation for about 14 years. The production was first outsourced to Paramount and later acquired by Netflix.

The Killer hits Netflix on November 10th.
