Austin Butler and Tom Hardy in the Biker Riders trailer

Austin Butler AND Tom Hardy will play bikers in one of the director’s future films Jeff Nichols. 20th Century Studios has released a new trailer for the film. CyclistsThe film is set in a fictional town in the 1960s and is expected to hit US theaters on December 1st. The trailer begins with Johnny (Hardy) reminding Benny (Butler) about starting the Vandals motorcycle club and how it became a family. He then shows Katie (Jodie Comer), who meets Benny and falls in love with him. They fall in love and quickly marry, and Katie hopes that she can convert him and abandon his cruel ways. However, the trailer shows Benny getting into a bar fight, causing Johnny and the vandals to chase him away.

Throughout the trailer, the biker gang continues to engage in increasingly dangerous and illegal activities. The trailer also shows Johnny telling Katie that he will never be able to convince Benny to stop being a biker.

Cyclists was sent Jeff Nichols. Although the film tells a fictional story, Cyclists was inspired by the 1968 photo book of the same name written by Danny Lyon. The film debuted at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this week to rave reviews. It will be shown at the London Film Festival in October.

In addition to Hardy, the cast also includes Comer and Butler. Michael Shannon who plays a member of the Vandals. Shannon has worked with Nichols on numerous films, including Midday sun AND Find shelter 2011. They will also be present in the film Mike Feist, Boyd Holbrook AND Norman Reedus.
