The 32nd title of the MCU is arriving as well as a prequel to the second chapter of the Star Lord saga: Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 will be released this spring in theaters around the world and directed by James Gunn will manage the adventures of the team of unlikely heroes, still shaken by the events of the previous films. And it is the director Gunn who, in a recent post on his Instagram profile, may have released some information on the ending of the third chapter.
Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 has already made headlines, allowing fans to speculate about the characters in the saga and their respective destinies. In the comments section of the most recent of Instagram’s posts James Gunnfans have demanded more information on the film, opening a real debate, involving the director.
To a user’s comment where wished the death of Rocket in the upcoming film, Gunn responded simply with the two googly eyes emoji. He could be inviting users to stay alert on the future of the saga or he could be implying that the user he replied to sees far. Marvel is usually pretty cautious about choosing characters who die in the movies. But we also know that Gunn isn’t afraid to impress audiences about him.
“This is the end of us, the last time people will see this team of GuardiansGunn announces on Deadline’s National Hero Podcast, continuing on the film. “It’s big. Very, very large and rather dark. Different from what people might expect. I want to stay true to the characters, the story and give the fans the ending they deserve. I have done my best“.
What will happen in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3?
The official synopsis released by Marvel reads as follows: “In Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 our beloved group of unlikely heroes are settling into their new life in Knowhere. But it won’t be long before their lives are turned upside down by Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill will have to lead his team on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life and, if that doesn’t happen, it could be the end of the Guardians we know“.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to be released in Italy on May 3rd. Directed by James Gunn, the film will star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff.
