Director Paul King has stated that he would also like to make another Wonka film.
It hasn’t been released yet, but the director Paul King Already expressed interest in watching the continuation of the chapter WonkaFilm about Willy Wonka With Timothee Chalamet hero.
Here are the words of Paul King:
I would definitely like to do more. And I would love to spend more time in this narrative universe. Roald Dahl was definitely interested in the Willy Wonka character. There are drafts that never go anywhere, and then there is a short story. He didn’t actually write any sequels, but this was the one book that he clearly felt had something to tell.
And he added:
We have so many more Wonka stories we’d like to tell. It’s not like Dune: Part One, where you’re like, “This is what happens in Part Two.” I hope it works great as a standalone film. But I would definitely like to do more. And I would like to spend more time in this world and meet other Oompa-Loompas.
As a reminder, Wonka is a film that will be released in theaters on December 15th.
