Disney Television Studios Terminate Agreements with Milo Ventimiglia and Gina Rodriguez During Strike | TV

Disney Television Studios appears to have suspended its agreements with Justin Hartley, Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Yara Shahidi, Gina Rodriguez, Billy Porter, Hiro Murai, Marc Webb, and Stacey Sher.

The choice is similar to what other studios made during the long period of the writers’ and actors’ strike. Disney has reportedly decided to move forward with production deals planned for 20th Television, ABC Signature and FX Productions, although they will have to pay regularly until the end of 2023.

A few days ago, it was Warner Bros Discovery’s turn to temporarily end deals with Greg Berlanti and JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot, while NBC Universal recently did the same with Dwayne Johnson and Lorne Michaels.

The writers’ strike, which is disrupting the production of television series and shows, began in May, and there is currently no resolution to the AMPTP issues that are preventing the protest from ending.
