A musical actor who has worked with major artists, including Justin Bieber, Drake and Post Malone has been declared a person of interest by police after the mysterious death of a woman in her luxury Miami suite, according to a report.
David Pollnow, 46, says he was “not present” when aspiring musician Laura Lozano was found lifeless in the bathtub of her oceanfront suite in Miami Beach, the Daily Mail reports.
The outlet added that the 34-year-old woman was lying face down in the bathroom of her one-bedroom hotel room at Miami’s luxury Setai Hotel on March 30.
According to hotel surveillance records, Bollno left the suite shortly after 4:30 a.m. of Lozano’s death.
She claims she never left with him.
Nine hours later, her unresponsive body was discovered by hotel staff and police said an “unidentified substance” had been found in several spots around the suite.
speak to the DailyMailIn Exclaim! , Pollnow described Lozano’s death as a “terrible tragedy” and admitted she had hoped to sign the budding musician after he “helped her make the music.”
“It was a terrible tragedy,” she told the outlet. “I had checked out early in the morning so I wasn’t there when they found it.”
“It was really sad, he was someone I really loved and he was such a good person,” added Pollnow, a partner at NKSFB, the largest US business management firm based in California.
Pollnow says Lozano was in his suite because he had recorded music there the night before.
She said, “She’s a client and she was going to sign me to a record deal.” “I helped her make music.”
“I really don’t want to delve into it too much. Honestly, it was a terrible tragedy.”
When asked why Lozano was in his hotel room at such strange hours, Pollnow said it was because he “let her stay there” and that “there’s not much else.”
“It was found when I left,” he said, adding that Lozano’s body was “found very late in the day.”
In a police report, Miami Beach Police Department officers called Paulno a “person of interest” in Lozano’s death, however, the businessman says, “I wasn’t there when she died.”
It’s unclear at this time if Lozano is from Miami.
Bolowno said he had been in contact with the woman’s family, saying her loved ones were “devastated”.
The Post has reached out to the Miami Beach Police Department for comment.
A graduate of Duke University, Paulnow has been recognized as one of Hollywood’s top business executives by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety magazine.
