Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Live
Kevin Eastman, the father of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, spoke in an interview about the success of the film and the possibility of seeing the Turtles live again. These are his words
I think that after the previous films, Nickelodeon and Paramount intended to tell the story of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in an animated style. We love all the live-action Spider-Man movies starring Tom Holland, but we also love the animated counterpart to Spidey. So I think they made a great choice to use animation so they had more flexibility and creative freedom. Maybe in the future, for now I just know that there will be other very fun projects of this animated version.
In fact, after the failure of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, live-action seems like a distant plan for the mutants. but not impossible. This remains unknown at this time, although an animated version seems almost certain to be continued, in fact by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon and Point Gray Pictures. they are already planning to make a sequelagain under the direction of Geoff Rowe, and animated series which debuts on Paramount+ under the title Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
