Directed by Carmine Elia (“Sea outside“, “Survivors“), created by Valerio D’Annunzio and Michelangelo La Neve, the series, produced by Nicola and Marco De Angelis, is a co-production of Rai Fiction and Fabula Pictures in association with Prime Video. We Are Legends is a coming-of-age story that follows a group of teenagers in Rome with enormous challenges and enormous abilities. Forces that can turn their lives upside down, forcing them to confront their limitations, desires and responsibilities. No hyperbolic missions, no universes to save or super-powered supervillains to fight. But the coming-of-age story is entirely character-driven, with superpowers becoming a metaphor for the challenges and opportunities teenagers must face, as well as their enormous potential.
Having a superpower may make everything easier, but the protagonists soon discover that there is no power that will help them “grow up,” and that every action always has consequences.
The series will soon be available on Prime Video and RaiPlay, but at the moment we don’t know for sure whether it will be at the same time or at different times.
