an exclusive party, an OOH maxi in the heart of the Quadrangle and a TikTok debut at Fashion Week

With the busy Milan Fashion Week calendar, Harper’s Bazaar celebrates beauty in all its forms. The magazine, born in the USA in 1867 and first published in Italy last December, is determined to show its audience and partners its ability to interpret style, creativity and design in a modern way. To achieve this, the company chose an exclusive event in September, a significant investment in outdoor advertising and a special initiative designed to support the already important brand community. All this, of course, will be accompanied by the presence of The Icons Issue on newsstands. The event, organized by Harper’s Bazaar Italia in collaboration with Harper’s Bazaar France in the magnificent Fontana room of the Museo del Novecento, took place on September 19 and was a party enriched by an extraordinary private exhibition of images taken from the first five print issues. Harper’s Bazaar Italia, published December 2022 to date.

Signed by prominent international photographers such as Nathaniel Goldberg, Viviane Sassen, Melanie + Ramon, Paul Koyker and Mark Keane, the images reflect the sophisticated style that has made the brand renowned throughout the world. An evening that brought together the editorial teams of the two countries, led by Daria Veledeeva (Italy) and Olivier Lalanne (France), together with many partners who increasingly appreciate and decide to support the magazine.

Instead, the issue’s most iconic covers and photos are displayed on newsstands with rotating digital content in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, in a maxi-outdoor ad on Via Manzoni/corner of Via della Spiga dedicated to a specific September issue, rather than the “Astounding” affair. The three stars on the cover are Mariacarla Boscano, photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg; Alix Butors, photographer Mark Keen; Kendall Jenner, photograph by Mario Sorrenti.

Finally, to further expand the magazine’s reach, an official Harper’s Bazaar Italia account is opening on TikTok @bazaaritalia. To seal the moment, the participation of five very popular TikTok talents will take part in the fashion calendar as “special correspondents” for Harper’s Bazaar Italia. They are Elisa Maino, Gio Scotti, Ludovica Coscione, Alison Tobey and Ryan Prevedel; Representatives of Generation Z, who have a total of more than 12 million subscribers.

Their experiences will be shared with the community on TikTok, where they will provide first-hand accounts of the energy of Milan Fashion Week, the trends expected next season, and details from the most anticipated runways.
