Larsa Pippen revealed on a recent podcast that she didn’t think Michael Jordan would be there to see his son marry her.

Pippen, 49, is the ex-wife of Jordan’s former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie. She has been dating Jordan’s 32-year-old son Marcus, who is 17 years younger than her, since 2021.

Speculation is rife that the couple could get engaged soon, which they addressed on this week’s episode of “Venues, Rings and Other Things.”

Pippen said of the rumors: “I got 100 calls and texts – people congratulating us, and I was like, I’m so excited. But no, we’re not engaged.

She then addressed whether ultimate NBA legend Michael would attend the wedding if it were featured on a reality show.

“Do you think you’re going to have a wedding on a reality show? I don’t think your parents can eat,” she said to Marcus.

Today, Jordan is a private man who won’t diminish the spotlight. He recently sold his stake in the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets for $3 billion and is worth an estimated $3.5 billion.

That makes the 60-year-old the richest basketball player in NBA history, according to Bloomberg.

He did talk about his son’s relationship with Larsa recently while on vacation in France with his wife, Yvette.

Paparazzi loudly asked Jordan if he approved of his son’s new relationship, and Jordan shook his head in disapproval.

Larsa recently admitted that the relationship between Michael and his old teammate Scottie Pippen could make things awkward.

She told the White Down podcast: “I’m not crazy. For them (Michael and Scotty) the relationship can be awkward.

“I don’t ask him (Scotty) his personal things. He doesn’t ask me my personal things. We talk about our kids and that’s it.

Meanwhile, Scottie himself has not addressed the relationship but appears to have ill will toward Jordan.

Pippen claimed in a recent interview that Jordan, widely considered the best player in NBA history, was “a terrible player” before he became a teammate.

“Before I came to play with the Bulls, I watched Michael Jordan play,” Pippen said. “You’ve seen him play and he’s a terrible player.

“It was terrible playing with him, he was all one-on-one, and his shooting was terrible. All of a sudden, we became a team, we started winning, and everyone forgot who he was.”

Shortly after these comments were made, Stephen A. Smith accused Pippen of betraying Jordan.
