New Line Cinema and Renaissance Pictures bring the iconic horror franchise back to theaters April 20, 2023, The House – The Awakening of Evil, by writer-director Lee Cronin (“Hole”). The film stars Lily Sullivan (“I Met a Girl”, “Ready for Anything”), Alyssa Sutherland (“The Mist”, “Vikings”), Morgan Davis (“Storm Boy – The Boy Who Could Fly”, “The End”), Gabrielle Echols (“Fragments from the Past – Reminiscence”) e Nell Fisher (“Northspur”).

Moving the action from the woods to the city,”The House – The Awakening of Evil” tells the tangled story of two sisters intent on reconnecting with each other, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is interrupted by the rise of demons of flesh and blood, who plunge them into a primal battle for survival as they face their worst nightmare.

The House – The Awakening of Evil is produced by Rob Tapert (“Ash vs Evil Dead”, “Man in the Dark”), executive produced by series creator and horror icon Sam Raimi and legend Bruce Campbell, who portrayed “Ash” in the films of cult of the series. With them also John Keville, Macdara Kelleher, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Romel Adam and Victoria Palmieri.

Cronin is joined behind the camera by cinematographer Dave Garbett (“Z for Zachariah,” “Underworld: Rebellion of the Lycans”), production designer Nick Bassett (“Guns Akimbo,” “Sweet Tooth”), editor Bryan Shaw (“Ash vs Evil Dead”, “Spartacus”) and costume designer Sarah Voon (“Chasing Great”, “Inside”), with a score by Stephen McKeon (“Hole”, “Primeval”).
