Hirings and firings

Havas Media Network UK has appointed Nick Wright as development director, a new role within the agency. He was previously managing director of Havas Entertainment.

Feig hired Amber Higgins as her first chief strategy officer. Higgins joins the company from Accenture Song, where she served as head of brand strategy.

Nancy Reyes is moving from one position to another at Omnicom, leaving her position as CEO of TBWA\Chiat\Day New York to become CEO of BBDO Americas. Early in her career, she spent over 12 years at another Omnicom division, Goodby Silverstein & Partners.

Wins, losses and account reviews

The Westminster Kennel Club has chosen Beekman Social as their official agency. Beekman’s responsibilities include providing “year-round engagement for dog lovers through digital content,” according to Adweek.

NestlĂ© has selected OpenMind WPP as its sole media agency in Europe. A NestlĂ© spokesman said the partnership would lead to “better decision-making and media planning, allowing campaigns to build brands and reach consumers at scale.”

After due diligence, Shell selected Havas as its media agency. GroupM previously held the account.

New divisions, offices, acquisitions, etc.

IPG is merging its Kinesso data division with Reprise, a media agency part of IPG Mediabrands. The newly merged organization will be called Kinesso.

Sports marketing and talent management firm Wasserman has acquired Brillstein Entertainment Partners, a talent management and content production company. According to the New York Times, Brillstein represents celebrities such as Adam Sandler and Elizabeth Olsen.

According to Ad Age, 4A’s gives its member agencies “discounted access to a cloud-based 51 to Carbon Zero tool that will allow them to understand Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.” Agencies will also have access to the organization’s climate experts.
