Diddy says LeBron James has ‘the best voice in the NBA’

Diddy changed the topic from the best rapper in the NBA to the best singer in the league, crowning the King himself none other than LeBron James.

The basketball legend took to his Instagram Stories on Monday (September 18) to share a clip of himself singing along to the Jacquees and Fabolous cut “Pick Up,” which appears on the newly released album Love Album: Off the Grid.

The bad boy mogul stumbled upon the Lakers star jamming to his music and returned the compliment by sharing the video with the caption: “No my brother @KingJames has the best voice in the NBA ! (laughing emoji) Love! See it!! LOVE (black heart emoji, praying hands emoji, shooting star emoji, lightning emoji, glitter emoji).

In adjacent news, Snoop Dogg recently weighed in on the debate over who is the greatest NBA rapper, and considering his loyalties, this pick adds up.

In early September, Tha Doggfather shared a snippet of Shaquille O’Neal’s lyrics from Southern California duo Coyote’s new single “3 Lokos” and used it as decisive evidence to reinforce his decision.

“@shaq the greatest NBA rapper of all time,” he captioned a clip of the legendary center rapping: “They think I’m on the verge of insanity/If he wasn’t spitting like this for money, what would it be/Mom managed me, dad was in the military/I come from bricks, the only option is just a cemetery/I hang out across from Ben & Jerry’s“.

The 51-year-old Los Angeles native is a lifelong Lakers fan, so his affection for Shaq dates back to the turn of the century when the basketball veteran won three consecutive championships for the team.

Shaq is always on the inside—both literally and figuratively—and his latest rap feature proves why he’s such a dominant presence in entertainment.

The question is: Should LeBron and Shaq fight back off the court?
