Joyner Lucas hinted that he and Will Smith are preparing a joint album that will be seen by the whole world.

The Massachusetts lyricist took to Instagram on Monday (September 25) to share a cool moment between him and the legendary rapper-actor, who was celebrating his 55th birthday that day.

In the clip, Joyner Lucas and Will Smith can be seen in the studio working on a few bars and trying to figure out the rhythm of the unreleased track, which features verses from both of them.

In the accompanying caption, Lucas, then a Grammy Award winner, offers flowers while mentioning their potential collaboration.

“Dear hero. I never thought I would ever meet you,” he wrote. “It still baffles me that I grew up idolizing you, then I make a record about my admiration and respect for you, and then you ask me to make a whole album with you.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY @willsmith. I love you until the end of time, my dear brother.”

Joyner Lucas and Will Smith previously worked together in 2020 after the release of “Will,” a song ADHD rapper dedicated The Prince of Bel-Air star.

The track included lyrical references to many of Big Willie’s most memorable film and television roles, and the accompanying video showed Lucas bringing those references to life and dressing up as Smith’s characters from The Prince of Bel-Air, Bad Boys, Men in Black and more.

A Hollywood celebrity at the time found out about the video and greeted Lucas, saying that “the place is crazy” and that he was “humbled and flattered.”

Shortly after its release, Will Smith dusted off his rhyme book and joined Lucas on the official remix. The Philadelphia native didn’t disappoint, spitting out bars affecting his career and personal life.
