Sydney Sweeney attended events organized by Miu Miu and Giorgio Armani this weekend in Venice. Both coincided with the Venice International Film Festival, which began last Wednesday.
On Saturday, Sweeney attended Giorgio Armani’s One Night in Venice fashion show. The Italian label presented the Armani Privé couture spring 2023 collection. It originally debuted in Paris earlier this year.

Sweeney’s black Armani Privé gown featured crystallized floral embroidery on the bodice and draped skirt. Accessorizing her look with a Bulgari diamond and studded necklace, the actress also wore a matching shawl.
Stylist Molly Dixon created Sweeney’s glamorous look. Sadie Sink, Kelsea Ballerini and Camila Mendes, other of Dixon’s clients, also appeared in Venice this weekend.
Sweeney’s makeup for the show, done by artist Melissa Hernandez, was created using Armani Beauty products. Hairstylist Glen Oropeza gave the actress a sleek side parting framed by loose waves.
On Sunday, Sweeney visited Miu Miu’s “Women’s Tales.” The annual event celebrates short films commissioned by the Italian label and directed by women.

For the occasion, Sweeney opted for a Miu Miu design, featuring a pink polka dot midi dress with a pleated skirt and beaded embellishments along the neckline. The actress also wore a pair of silver high-heeled sandals and one of Miu Miu’s clutches.
The 80th annual Venice International Film Festival runs from August 30 to September. 9 in Lido, a barrier island located in the Venice Lagoon. Organized by the Venice Biennale under the direction of Alberto Barbera, the festival is officially recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations. Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla and Bradley Cooper’s Maestro are among the films chosen to premiere in Venice this year.
