America’s Got Talent has announced the 2023 finale winner.

Each week, contestants battled it out in a series of intense rounds to make it through the 18th season of the popular reality competition.

During the grand final, eleven candidates took to the stage for a chance to take first place, including dance groups Murmuration, Avantgardey and Chibi Unity, singers Putri Ariani and Lavender Darkangelo, stand-up comedian Aren Belisle, dog trainer Adrian Stoica and his dog . Hurricane Balancing Heads: Ramadani Brothers, Magician Anna DeGuzman, Mzansi Youth Choir and 82nd Airborne Division Choir.

This group was whittled down to five, with the Ramadhani Brothers, Putri Ariani, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Anna DeGuzman and Murmuration being announced as the best performers.

After much deliberation by judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara, fan-favorite duo Adrian and Hurricane were named the winners.

They took home the $1 million grand prize and headlined America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

At their last performance to Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” Hurricane set Adrian up for a date with AGT judge Sofia and even got her involved.

“It’s natural love,” Klum said after the performance. “Hurricane is adorable and the smartest dog I’ve ever seen. It was all amazing.”

Anna DeGuzman took second place, followed by Murmuration in third place. Putri, who was widely considered to be the front-runner in the competition, finished fourth and The Ramadhani Brothers came in fifth.

Even though the Mzansi Youth Choir didn’t make it to the final five, it was a triumphant night as after being eliminated they were told that Coldplay had invited them to perform with them during an upcoming performance.

The epic finale also featured special performances from 30 Seconds to Mars, Jason Derulo, Jon Batiste, Leona Lewis and season 17 winners The Mayyas.

America’s Got Talent airs on NBC in the United States.
