“I’m damn impressed.”

Ice graced the cover of the latest issue of the magazine Diversitywhich came out Thursday, and includes some comments from Taylor, who admired the bright star… “I relate to Ice in a lot of ways. She is extremely professional without being cold.”

TC continued, “She knows what is and isn’t ‘her’ and sets those boundaries with grace. She studies the industry and the careers of other artists, but is very clear about her own definitive, original path. It’s her ability to carefully find that balance that impresses the hell out of me.”

Collaborating with Taylor can be just as rewarding as winning an award, and Ice has earned plenty of accolades this year—most notably, she has three songs in the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, one of them her duet with Swift. Taylor fans in New Jersey were able to hear “Karma” live during the Eras Tour.

Ice previously stated that she confused by Taylor accidentally waiting for her in the studio when they recorded “Karma” … but Taylor says Ice was also on the job, coming into the studio with a verse ready to go and sending her the vocals ahead of time to make sure they sounded on the same page!!!
