At the Season 4 premiere Kardashian on Hulu, fans learn that Khloe Kardashian has a serious fear of whales. So much so that when her sisters and mom are excited to see whales breaching the waters off the coast of Cabo San Lucas, she can barely contain her anxiety. And it’s probably a good thing her 5-year-old daughter True wasn’t there because she apparently loves to make fun of her mom all the time about her fear. It doesn’t seem entirely kind, but as Chloe points out, at some point, “everyone turns into a f–king a**hole.” Even her precious little girl.
The mom of two, who also shares 1-year-old son Tate with her ex Tristan Thompson, provided a great example during the series’ Season 4 premiere. Kardashian as to why she is afraid of whales. “Didn’t you hear about the couple who were swallowed by a whale off the coast of California and then spat back out because it was an accident?” she says during a confessional, presumably referring to a viral video from 2020 where two kayakers were nearly swallowed by a whale but escaped unharmed. “The damn thing is so big, but you don’t see it coming. There is no ripple, no warning. This is weird.”
No one seems to sympathize with Khloe’s fear of whales, especially her daughter True. “My daughter bullies me,” she explained, sharing photos True has drawn of her in the past. “She draws me pictures of whales just to egg me on. She thinks it’s so funny.
Then the good American designer turns to look away and says in a deadpan voice: “At some point, everyone turns into a fucking asshole. Oh my God.” Meaning, we’re hiring her sweet, badass daughter.
This isn’t the first time True has gotten a little “suspicious” with her mom. In 2021, Khloe told Ellen DeGeneres that True picked out a Halloween costume for her mom that she thought was a little gross. True will be Moana and she wants me to be Pua Pig,” Khloe explained. “So, it’s a little suspicious of her, but that’s okay. I will be Pua instead of Truth.” Her daughter was only 3 years old at the time, so this request could have been granted innocently. But now that she’s drawing whales for her mom, knowing full well that she has a phobia of the creatures… we’re not so sure.
