“If there is someone, then maybe…”: Heidi Klum on asking Sofia Vergara on a date during her divorce from Joe Manganiello

Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara’s friendship has grown stronger each season than on America’s Got Talent, especially this year as they continue to hang out off-screen and enjoy their girl time together. The two AGT judges are often seen clicking and posting selfies together, as well as sharing behind-the-scenes videos from the set as they lounge around and feed each other during breaks. Klum recently opened up about her growing connection with Vergara.

The model also revealed whether she would be willing to date the actress now that she is single after splitting from her ex-husband Joe Manganiello. For the uninitiated, the Modern Family star and the latter announced their separation in July of this year after seven years of marriage. They are currently getting divorced and have entered into a prenuptial agreement.

Heidi Klum asked Sofia Vergara out on a date during her divorce

Speaking to Fox News, Klum revealed that out of all the judges, she spends the most time with Vergara and called each other girly. “We talk about clothes, we go out to eat, we drink, we talk about men. You know what girls talk about, you know, everything,” she said. When asked if she would be willing to ask a Colombian-American man out on a date, the German-American woman replied, “If there is someone, then maybe, why not?”

She also added that America’s Got Talent is like a family. “The judges are my family… we love each other, we care about each other. We see each other when we’re not filming… I see Sofia most of the time, really. But, you know, yesterday we went all out on Howie’s boat… and it was just amazing,” Klum said, referring to her boat ride with Vergara, fellow judge Howie Mandel and host Terry Crews. Simon Cowell disappeared during the escape.

America’s Got Talent 18 finale

Meanwhile, on September 27, America’s Got Talent concluded its eighteenth season on NBC. The competitive reality series ended with the final performance of Adrian Stoica’s dogs and the victory of Hurricane. They took home a $1 million prize. Magician Anna DeGuzman took second place, and dance group Murmuration, which was the frontrunner for potential winners, took second place. The top five were Ramadhani Brothers and Putri Ariani.

America’s Got Talent will also be getting a new spinoff series called Fantasy League, but Sofia Vergara will not be joining the rest of the judges. Mel B will take over the special episode instead. But those who will miss the Griselda actress need not fear too much as she will return next year for the nineteenth season of the hit reality show.
