While the gossip pages are abuzz with Kylie Jenner’s rumored relationship with Timothée Chalamet, fashion week saw her put her surprising friendship with Rosalía on full display. This season, the influencer and the singer sit comfortably next to each other in the fashion industry’s busiest front row. But unlike most attendees, they took selfies, shared laughs and even recreated their viral TikTok (a mashup of their Stormi birthday screams mixed with Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody”).
The friends kicked off their fashion weeks with an appearance at the Prada show in Milan. Rosalía shared a photo of the duo on Instagram as the show began, with the caption “Prada o nadaaaaaaa.”
A few days later in Paris, they even spent time together away from the hustle and bustle of the fashion world for the Spanish singer’s 31st birthday. While details of the celebration were kept under wraps, Page Six reported that Jenner was holding onto Chalamet’s finger, which is news in itself these days. Interestingly, Jenner soft-launched Chalamet at Prada when she “accidentally” showed her phone screen to the press.
Jenner and Rosalia’s Paris meeting didn’t end there—two days later, they headed to the front row of Acne Studios, where they were filming. What TikTok (which currently has over nine million likes).
Commenters quickly flocked to the comments with statements such as “Why did I think Kylie was Rosalia at first, omg twins” and “I was many years old today when I found out it (audio) was Kylie and Rosalia!” While the couple did look alike—especially with their deep black hair and neutral lips—Jenner was pretty hard to miss in the tentacle-like dress.
The best friends capped off their fashion week antics with a huge theatrical Schiaparelli show, with Jenner stunning in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired gown and Rosalia wearing one of the house’s signature baroque looks. Once again, side by side, they watched closely and applauded when Kendall Jenner closed the show.
While we’d like to remain private about what the couple discusses (“what, what, Motomami?”), in the world of fashion and fast-paced small talk, their relationship seems completely permanent. And although the show’s busy schedule is coming to an end this season, Jenner and Rosalía, who first met in 2019, are taking their friendship well beyond the front row. “She’s a very good friend of mine,” Rosalia said.
