Forbes That honor has just been bestowed upon the NBA legend… who reportedly sold his stake in the Charlotte Hornets earlier this summer, bringing his net worth to $3 billion.
According to the media report, Jordan is now Ranked 397th Ranked among the 400 richest people in the country…just a few spots below the WWE boss Vince McMahon.
He became the first professional athlete to make the list.
Sure, his aura brought him plenty of wealth through NBA contracts and huge endorsement deals with companies like Nike and Gatorade…but it was the sale of the Hornets that thrust him into rarefied air.
