In one of her latest photos posted on social media, Doja Cat is wearing a T-shirt featuring controversial comedian Sam Hyde. This is a comedy closely associated with the “neo-Nazi” movement. Back in June 2017, Hyde donated $5,000 to neo-Nazi blogger Andrew Anglin and his website The Daily Stormer. Anglin was involved in a legal battle with the Southern Poverty Law Center for “trolling” a Jewish woman. The Los Angeles Times reports that over the years, Hyde has developed a huge following among white nationalists, misogynists and anti-Semites. Doja Cat posted this image of herself wearing a T-shirt and sent social media into a frenzy.
Despite her past actions with other subjects that are considered controversial, Doja Cat still has a huge following, but many of them are now wondering if they should follow her after her latest appearance. The vast majority of comments state that Doja Cat appears to be trying to get a cancellation by any means necessary. Although Doja Cat had already deleted the photos, people rushed to take photos of them and flooded social media. To date, the singer has said nothing about the criticism she has received from all over the internet. Besides, she loses followers at a steady pace since she posted the image.
