The Oscar-winning actress has her sights set on making an entirely silent feature film after her short film Bleat.

Emma Stone dreams of making a completely silent film. After “Poor Creatures!” The Oscar-winning actress has once again collaborated with director Yorgos Lanthimos to create a short film without dialogue. Now the star has her sights set on a real movie where you don’t have to talk, as it turned out on the sidelines of the New York Film Festival.

Speaking about the short film, called Bleat, Emma explained: “I would be thrilled if I never had to speak again. And many other people too.”

Emma then added: “I’m serious. My favorite thing is not to talk. I often think we could cut out a lot of the jokes because I think people can say a lot more without saying a word.”

“I… As soon as the strike is over,” Lanthimos replied without hesitation.

“Poor creatures!” Based on the novel by Alasdair Gray, it tells the story of a woman who decides to end it all to escape her abusive husband. However, she will be brought back to life along with the brain of her unborn daughter. The cast includes Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, Jerrod Carmichael, Margaret Qualley, Susie Bemba, Catherine Hunter and Wayne Brett.
