Voice returned to NBC on Monday with another four-chair audition to kick off the evening. With the auditions soon coming to an end, fans were eagerly waiting to see which singers would join each team ahead of the battle rounds. Fans also wanted to see Reba McEntire hit the block for the first time in her life.

The audition episode begins with a crazy four-chair turn

The episode started with the amazing singer quickly flipping Gwen Stefani and John Legend’s chairs. Soon after, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire approached the singer. There was no denying that Lila Ford was an absolute star in her blind audition.

All the trainers fought very hard for Lila, but everyone continued to praise the same thing – her overall tone. Stefani even called the singer β€œthe girl of the voice of her dreams.” While Lila received compliments, she did not hesitate on which team she wanted to join. In the end, she chose Team Legend. This choice made sense since Legend mentioned how he used to do concerts in hotels, like she does now.

On the eve of the blind audition, Tanner Massey explained that he was not part of the group. America’s Got Talent band when I was younger and even appeared in one of their viral videos. Before performing Lewis Capaldi’s “Before You Go,” he explained that he wanted to turn Horan’s chair.

He felt a deep connection with the former One Direction singer due to his age and tone. Not to mention, Horan is friends with Capaldi, so he agreed to send Tanner’s performance to the original singer. I think Tanner’s decision was made before Horan turned the chair, but he had both McIntyre and Stephanie’s options.

The beautiful soul singer attracted the attention of all the coaches

The next four-chair auditioner for this episode was Jarae Womack. The Miami, Florida singer sang a slow, silky version of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black.” Legend and Horan turned their chairs to Jarae first, followed by McIntyre and Stephanie.

This soul singer truly had a moment. This blind audition was crazy and I’m surprised the coaches didn’t turn around sooner. From Jarae’s first note, it was clear that she was an accomplished performer. After all the coaches praised her soulful style, Jarae decided to join Team Legend.

Reba McEntire finally uses her block

The country crooner has officially entered her block of the season. McIntyre’s highly anticipated Block appeared during Brandon Montel’s blind audition. At the audition, they sang “Hard Place” by HER. McIntyre watched as “Legend” scored several other four-chair numbers on the episode, so it was no surprise that she finally hit the block button on the soulful singer.

Legend immediately responded to McIntyre’s block by getting up from his red chair to throw a tantrum. Luckily for Legend, he will have the opportunity to steal Brandon from McIntyre in the battle rounds.

After all the coaches praised Brandon, the singer was able to choose his team. After McEnitre’s block, Brandon decided to join Gwen’s team.

The episode ended with a performance from the show’s first singer, Nini Iris. After this singer’s “Blind Audition” was published on VoiceOn the YouTube channel, fans were eager to know which team Nini would choose. It has now been revealed that she has chosen Niall’s team.
