Kendall Jenner and other stars allegedly sold their image to artificial intelligence Meta for $5 million.

Have you ever dreamed of chatting with your favorite star? Apparently, artificial intelligence will allow you to do this. Last month, on the occasion of the Connect conference, Meta introduced AI Experiences chatbots designed for Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, which use the faces of famous people such as Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Charlie D’. Amelio and Tom Brady. There will currently be a total of 28 new bots that will respond to user requests via text messages using fictitious names depending on the topic they will be dealing with. Kendall, for example, will play “Billie,” a sort of older sister who will give advice to users, and Tom Brady will play “Bru,” a sports expert.

According to The Information, Meta struck a deal worth $5 million for 6 hours of studio work to take celebrity images and turn them into AI assistants. Initially, according to the same sources, Meta would be willing to pay the stars $1 million, but for more famous names the figure would increase exponentially. Chatbots will be improved over the next year as many celebrities want to make sure their image isn’t used to make questionable statements, Mark Zuckerberg said.
