Caring for a thousand patients every day in the shortest possible time were two of the goals pursued by the new hospital Immediate Diagnosis Hospital opens in Banfield. Lomas de Zamora will have the second of three types of this type designed to relieve pressure on Buenos Aires’ complex public health system.
Given its location at 900 Cochabamba, between Campos and Capdevila, it was named in honor of Banfield’s most illustrious neighbor, none other than Roberto Sanchezor “Sandro” to his fans and all of America.
The new hospital has 24 hours guard and a system of related laboratories and offices that strives to provide all results on the same day so that patients leave the place with a clear understanding of what is happening and what treatment should be taken.
In addition to children and adults of all ages on call, the hospital has 60 hospital bedsand modern infrastructure to enable more efficient circulation of health personnel and patients.
Details from Lomas de Zamora Commune: “The first floor will house a central patient reception space, a large waiting room and two inpatient areas, one for adults and another for children. On the upper floor of the “Roberto Sánchez” center there will be another operating room, a nursing room, a recovery room and three offices.
