The two recently sparked rumors when they were spotted enjoying a weekend getaway. They were photographed having dinner on Via Carota in Manhattan before leaving New York.
Now an insider tells The Messenger that the couple can thank Cooperex Irina Shayk for bringing them together.
“Gigi met Bradley through Irina (Shayk) and mutual friends in the industry,” a source told the publication.
“Gigi and Irina have been close over the years, working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but they were always friendly socially.”
The source notes that it’s unclear when the two became romantically involved, but they were initially “bonded over their daughters when Bradley asked her out.”
“He was pursuing her and she was definitely interested and excited,” the source added. “They were dating casually, but it was completely new.”
However, Hadid, who has three-year-old daughter Hai with ex Zayn Malik, is reportedly not interested in anything serious at the moment.
Cooper is also the father of six-year-old Leah De Seine and Shayk.

They were once spotted getting touchy-feely while on vacation in Italy back in August.
Shayk even shared a series of shirtless photos on her Instagram, which also showed Cooper shirtless on a kayak.
The model is rumored to be dating Tom Brady, but reports say she will continue to spend time with Cooper.
