The 2023-2024 influenza and Covid-19 vaccination campaign has started this week in the basic health areas of Sistijena, Bonnhar and Riano. As a result, “target” groups can now book appointments for vaccination at health centers and clinics.
You will need to bring your ID and comfortable clothing with you when you go for your vaccination. You should not go if you have a fever or any symptoms of infection, just as if you have an appointment for a Covid-19 vaccine and have been ill for less than three months.
Appointments can be requested in the Sacyl app via the health portal, by calling the phone number of each health center or office, and through the management unit of the center itself.
“Target” groups for seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccination:
– Persons aged 60 or above
– Persons 5 years of age or older in disability centers and nursing homes, as well as other long-term residents and residents of closed institutions.
– People under 60 years of age with dangerous conditions:
– Pregnant and postpartum women in any trimester of pregnancy
– People who live with someone who has some degree of immunosuppression
– Health and social care center staff and trainees
– Essential public service workers
In addition, recommendations for influenza vaccination in persons aged 5-18 years receiving long-term treatment with acetylsalicylic acid are also proposed, which is also novel; smokers and those with direct occupational contact with farm, poultry, pigs, mink or wild animals People with farm animals.
The “target” groups for seasonal vaccination with the new coronavirus vaccine:
– People with risk factors for severe COVID-19 and everyone age 60 and older.
– Vaccination will be done by appointment at a nursing consultation, by application, by appointment through the administrative unit or by phone.
