American actress Megan Fox appeared on the cover of SI Swimsuit Issue 2023 and took the opportunity to share her honest reflections on her own experiences with self-image. During a trip to the Dominican Republic with photographer Greg Swales, the 37-year-old posed for some stunning photos and opened up about her past and personal struggles.
“I never see myself the way other people see me,” she admitted on set. “I think the journey of self-love will never end.”
Her honesty about past and current self-image issues is certainly commendable. But beyond that honesty, the actress proved herself to be a talented model, posing for a series of incredible shots throughout the trip. Fox said the work became easier as the day went on, and she found it easier to do what was asked of her.
“I’m not sure what the expectations were, but as the day unfolded I felt lighter and more open and felt like we were on track,” she said.
It also helps that the Tennessee native feels more comfortable outdoors for her gorgeous cover shoot. “When I’m out in nature and feeling that youthful awe of life, that’s when I feel most at home doing things myself,” she said.
