A new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse report suggests that the upcoming sequel will feature a surprise appearance from a Venom-related character
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will feature a live-action appearance from a character involved in the film series Venom. According to Daniel Richtman, the upcoming film will feature a cameo from the actress Peggy Luwho will reprise her role of Ms. Chen, the shop owner who appears in Sony films.
Chen won’t be the only character in live-action form. Insider Jeff Sneider previously hinted that too Tom Holland
could appear with his version of Spider-Man. The latter, in particular, would meet Miles Morales as his team explores alternate universes. Sneider said: “I had heard that part of the delay for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was about putting Tom Holland in the film and that one of the dimensions Miles could end up in is ours”. However, no appearances have been officially confirmed for the actor yet in Across the Spider-Verse.There has also been a lot of talk about other potential crossovers between lo Spider-Verse and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home that explore the multiverse and have multiple Spider-Men involved in the same timeline, a report has suggested that Across The Spider-Verse he will talk about the repercussions. This narrative will see the characters involved in the upcoming sequel mentioning that the Multiverse is a “mess” due to a “certain event” and Doctor Strange will also be mentioned. This would create a link between the animated series and all of the MCU’s ongoing films.
Across The Spider-Verse will see Shameik Moore reprise the lead role, Miles Moraleswith Jake Johnson who returns in the role of Peter B. Parker And Hailee Steinfeld as Spiderwoman/Gwen Stacy. With the story continuing to follow Morales’ adventures throughout the Spider-Verse, more characters are brought in. For example, Spider-Man India will make its first appearance, with Karan Soni which will provide the voice. Moreover, the actor too Daniel Kaluuya will be joining the Spider-Verse sequel as Spider Punk.
