During the 80th Venice Film Festival, one of the most anticipated events of the year, many famous faces from the world of entertainment walked the famous red carpet. Among them, Adam Driver and Jacob Elordi have captured the attention of photographers and the public. But the event was not only attended by world-famous actors and actresses: increasingly, influencers are invited to the exhibition to promote clothing and beauty products.
Just a few days ago, it was the turn of Cecilia Rodriguez, Belén’s younger sister, who paraded at the premiere of Yorgos Lanthimos’s Poor Girl, starring Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo.
For the occasion, the former Giffina opted for a bright lemon yellow dress with an American neckline, a deep side slit and a large slit at the bodice held together by gold chains. The Dundas signature suit was designed by Peter Dundas, renowned stylist and former creative director of renowned houses such as Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli. Cecilia’s image was praised above all for her choice of colors, which brought some light into a festival dominated by dark dresses.
But besides the appearance, the presence of Cecilia in Venice is controversial for another reason. Days after her red carpet appearance, gossip expert Dejanira Marzano shared a video on her Instagram stories in which Rodriguez appears to be involved in an argument with a security officer. From the video, it is difficult to understand what they were talking about and what is the reason for the alleged dispute. However, the powerful person can be heard visibly annoyed by the bodyguard, “What does that have to do with this? So… He is here in front of us.” Later, a voice can be heard yelling at her, “Cecilia, don’t worry”, suggesting some sort of misunderstanding.
This little bit of information makes it hard to reconstruct the exact dynamics of what happened, but it appears there was an argument between Cecilia and the security officer. It remains to be seen if the ex Jeffina will decide to better clarify the situation or completely refute the gossip. In any case, this episode brought additional attention to her during the most important film event in Italy.
