In a recent interview with Collider, Rebecca Ferguson talked about highly anticipated Mounds 2 Directed by Denis Villeneuve.
The actress, who returns to play Lady Jessica, mother of protagonist Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), spoke with great enthusiasm about the project:
I am smiling a lot at the moment, it is a very good film. I get emotional talking about it because I love Denny (Villeneuve) and I love Greg (Fraser, cinematographer) and I love the team. But boy, the first part is phenomenal and huge and great; It’s intimate, full of close-ups and action. But that’s absolutely nothing compared to part two. The second is like getting punched in the stomach, it’s unreal.
continued:
I have not seen the film. I read the script and saw the footage. I went on set even when I wasn’t filming, well I don’t because I’m always so busy, tired and I don’t really care. That wasn’t the case in this case, I wanted to see Sean, Austin Butler in action. It’s amazing, there are no words. The costumes, Jacqueline West’s costumes, what Austin brings to the character, what Christopher Walken does. I mean, it’s unrealistic.
dune – part two To be released in Italy on 17 November. In the cast, in addition to Rebecca Ferguson and Timothée Chalamet, we’ll find Austin Butler, Zendaya, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux and Florence Pugh.
