In an upcoming Titan book titled Thor: Love and Thunder. Official release of the film”, which will be released on September 19, 2023, director Thor: Love and Thunder, Taika Waititispoke about the future of the god of thunder in the MCU, stating that Thor’s next adventure should have a stronger villain than Hela.
“What is left for him to do? It should be something that feels like a continuation of the character’s evolution, but still in a very fun way and still gives him the ability to deal with what seems to be based on the obstacles he has to overcome. I don’t think we can have a weaker villain than Hela. I feel like we need to take it one step further and add a villain that is more formidable.”
Even the leader of MyTimeToShineHello took to social media after the news, confirming the film’s development.
