The actor became a trend a week ago when a waitress shared on TikTok that she did not recognize him and “rejected him” at a restaurant.
A week ago Adam Sandler was the sensation of social networks after a waitress shared the curious anecdote he had with him, now the subject again gives something to talk about because the actor showed his reaction on his social networks.
It all started when the user Dayanna Rodas showed a small clip in which a video of the security cameras of the IHOP where she works is shown, in the image you can see how she, who is a waitress at the said establishment, tells Adam Sandler that the wait would be 30 minutes and the actor later leaves.
With the caption “please come back,” Dayana told her followers that she did not recognize the actor under the mask and that it was not until she saw the security tapes that she realized what she had done.
The clip had all kinds of reactions as many supported the idea of treating the stars like anyone else, others also applauded that the actor did not use his fame to try to make a profit in the establishment.
And as is typical of his personality, the Uncut Gems actor was not going to be silent after the uproar his clip caused, so he decided to share his reaction through his Twitter account.
“To be clear, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman (referring to Dayana) told me that the ‘all you can eat’ promotion did not apply to shakes,” he wrote.
For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes.

The actor joked about the situation because the user had said in his video that the reason why Sandler had left was because of the half-hour wait.
The tweet so far has more than 111 thousand likes and in the comments, his fans again applauded him for taking the situation so lightly, some users even suggested that he invite the waitress to make a cameo in one of his films.
Sandler is currently promoting the Netflix horror comedy film Hubie Halloween in which he stars alongside renowned actor Steve Buscemi and fellow actress and comedian Maya Rudolph.
