One of the most loved and followed creators on TikTok continues with her acting career. AddisonRae she got her second engagement as an actress and for the first time she will be grappling with a horror film.
The 22-year-old star started getting noticed in 2019 by uploading dance videos to TikTokwhere he now boasts 88.9 million followers, plus 39 million followers on Instagram.
After conquering social media, Addison Rae made her acting debut in 2021 as the protagonist of the teenage romantic comedy He’s All Thatremake of the 90s cult film Kiss Me (She’s All That).
Now Deadlines has just announced that she has been signed on for her second film, this time in a completely different genre. Addison Rae will star with Patrick Dempsey (The Doctor Strangelove Of Grey’s Anatomy) in the slasher horror Thanksgiving directed by Eli Roththe director of Cabin Fever, Hostels, The Green Hell And Knock Knock.
The film is based on a “fake trailer” shot by Eli Roth himself featured in the double film grindhouse directed by Quentin Tarantino And Robert Rodríguezand set during the Thanksgiving Day. Another fake double film trailer, Machetespawned a film of the same name which also had a sequel, Machete Kills.
We are already very curious to see how Addison Rae will fare in her unedited guise of “scream queen”!
