Singer Lizzo plans to sue the same dancers who sued her, showing photos that tell a different story: “They’re happy and having fun.” Defense: “They just wanted to keep their jobs.”
Singer Lizzo she plans to sue the same dancers who sued her. TMZ finds out about this and writes about the publication of new photos, presented by the singer precisely as evidence, showing her accusers having fun backstage after a nudist entertainment show in Paris, about a month after the published facts (the banana story in Amsterdam). Lizzo’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told TMZ that newly released photos show Lizzo’s accusers “cheerful, joyful and festive” backstage with topless cabaret artists in Paris during her tour.
Attorney Marty Singer said the photos were dated March 5, about a month after the events reported by the girls. In their allegations, the dancers denounced the pressure on Lizzo to eat the bananas that the strippers stuffed into their vaginas. There are three accusers: Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noel Rodriguez. The three dancers, Lizzo’s lawyer alleges, were acting nonchalant backstage a month after the events, according to photos released by TMZ. The lawyer also claims that after the events in Amsterdam, the dancers nevertheless took part in Lizzo’s tour.
The reaction of the dancers
The dancers’ lawyer, Neama Rahmani, comments: “Obviously they wanted to keep their jobs because they have their bills to pay like everyone else, but in the end, they’ve had enough of abuse. We support every demand put forward and look forward to going to court with confidence.” We have heard other former employees tell similar stories, and it shows how much Lizzo cares about those who work for her. Clearly, not much.”
