The NBA veteran listed several items, including his 1996-97 MVP trophy and the 1993 NBA All-Star Game MVP award. Popular online marketplace Goldin’s is currently auctioning off all of Malone’s items for sale.

Basketball fans have always been interested in collecting pieces of history like this. That’s why whenever items related to the world of basketball go up for auction, there’s a huge buzz. This usually means that the items listed will receive higher bids at auction, but it’s all in the name of the love of the game. Judging by what Malone auctioned off with Golding, he was certainly in the holiday spirit.

Some of the items include the 1992 Olympic Dream Team gold medal, which, believe it or not, you can get for $4,500. In addition, a 1992 Olympic basketball basketball signed by 15 Dream Team members sold for $8,000, a 1992 Olympic USA basketball jacket signed by 11 Dream Team members sold for $800, and a 1979 Malone high school basketball jacket signed by 11 Dream Team members sold for $800. -The price of the 81 season game jersey is $800. $500 for the 1996-97 MVP trophy and $469 for the 1993 All-Star Game MVP award. Complete set includes signed jersey and shoes. The winner of the auction has not been named. Now, the amount in this auction is certainly huge, but it still pales in comparison to another piece of Jordan memorabilia that sold last year.

Last September, Sotheby’s auction house sold an MJ jersey he wore in Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. The jersey sold for a record $10.1 million. Another piece of Jordan memorabilia that fetched a high price at auction was a pair of game-worn Jordan shoes, which sold for $420,000.
