Given Michael Jordan’s love for golf, it’s no surprise that Jumpman began designing sneakers specifically for the putting green. Their efforts continue with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High Golf and Air Jordan 6 Low Golf in a “Gift Giving” colorway that ostensibly recalls the CO.JP-era icon.
The Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Gift Giving” leaked in August of this year and is a fitting addition to the brand’s Holiday 2023 collection. Echoing the “Bordeaux” from earlier this summer, this pair appears to draw inspiration from one of Jordan Brand’s many Japan-exclusive silhouettes, the “Tokyo” colorway that resurfaced in 2020. The base of the upper features Silver metallic overlays and overlays. However, while these offer a more matte finish, the Swoosh, Jumpman logo, packaging, and release-specific logos opt for a sleeker look. An icy blue finish rounds out the sole of the shoe.
Although it belongs to the same series, the Air Jordan 6 Low Golf “Gift Giving” opts for a simpler design, with smooth white leather covering a silver metal base. The upper is also different from the Air Jordan 1 in that it more closely resembles the tools of a traditional golf shoe.
Please enjoy the formal appearance of the “gift giving” package at the front. The Air Jordan 1 High Golf and Air Jordan 6 Low Golf are expected to release on November 17th via Nike SNKRS.
