Two projects under development
The sequel to I Am Legend, which reached 585 million at the box office, will be set a few decades after the first chapter of the story. Akiva previously revealed that he was “obsessed” with The Last of Us and the idea of seeing a post-apocalyptic world where nature has taken over once again. The film will feature New York City, and the author has emphasized that it will tie into the original novel and alternate ending rather than the original film’s opening.
Constantine grossed over $280 million at the worldwide box office and there was much talk of a continuation of the John Constantine story. The film would go into production thanks to Reeves, who has repeatedly expressed his desire to reprise the character, and thus managed to get the opportunity to do so.
