Al-Qassam Brigades: Israel postpones the prisoner exchange issue

Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida provided information about the prisoner exchange agreement with Israel and the field conflicts in the audio recording published by the Hamas channel on Telegram.

Abu Ubaida pointed out that Qatari mediators worked last week to release 200 Palestinian children and 25 women in exchange for the release of Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

Abu Ubaida stated that Israel wants to release 100 women and children in Gaza, and said that they, like Al-Qassam, informed the mediators that they could release 50 women and children with a 5-day ceasefire and that this number could reach 70.

Abu Ubaida indicated that they are demanding that the prisoner exchange agreement include a ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid, and he said that Israel “postponed and evaded” this issue.

In the context of talking about the field confrontations, Abu Ubaida pointed out that the Palestinian resistance infiltrated the entry points of the occupation soldiers, targeted tanks and military vehicles, and attacked the soldiers.

Abu Ubaida said that they completely or partially destroyed 20 Israeli military vehicles during the past 48 hours, adding that “the Israeli leaders’ dream of destroying the resistance is an escape from defeat.” He said.

Abu Ubaida stated that Yitzhak Shamir and Yitzhak Rabin (former prime ministers of Israel) also tried to destroy the resistance, and their numbers at that time did not exceed dozens.

Israeli state television Kan TV claimed on November 11 that intense negotiations were being mediated by the United States and Qatar to reach an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians that would include a prisoner exchange and a humanitarian truce for the conflicts in Gaza.
