VoiceSeason 24 kicked off with coaches John Legend, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire in the red chairs. Legend, an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winner, will be coaching for the eighth time and will bring a wealth of knowledge to his team.

John Legend’s Grammy-winning debut album Rise up
Legend released his debut studio album Rise upin 2004. Artists featured on the album included Lauryn Hill, will.i.am, Kanye West (who is now known as Ye), and Snoop Dogg.

He won three Grammy Awards for his work: Best R&B Album, Best New Artist, and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “Ordinary People.”
He said American songwriter in 2020 from victories: “It all comes down to the song. None of this would have happened if I didn’t have a song that touched people. I always believe that content is more important than anything else, though. and technology matters too. But the content is critical.”
John Legend has been released Again in 2006
Singer’s platinum album Again was released in 2006, shortly after the huge success Rise up. It debuted third in the US. Billboard 200 charts and went platinum.
Legend won two Grammy Awards for his work: Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for the single “Heaven”; and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for their cover of Sly and the Family Stone’s “A Family Affair” with Joss Stone and Van Hunt.
Another breakthrough moment from Again it was Legend’s collaboration with Mary J. Blige on the track “King & Queen”.
John Legend has been released Evolve in 2008
In October 2008, Legend released his third studio album. Evolve. It features vocals from Ye (who worked on his previous albums), Andre 3000, Brandi and Estelle. It debuted fourth in the US. Billboard 200.

Legend wanted this album to stand out from his other works and to be an eclectic mix of genres and influences. “While there are some elements that people have heard on my previous albums, I also think there are some things that people haven’t heard from me before,” he said. Blues and soul. “And I think that’s what makes the album interesting. In particular, I feel like I made different arrangement and production choices this time.”
At the 51st Annual Grammy Awards, Legend was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for his song “Green Light” from the album. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 52nd Annual Awards for “This Time”.
John Legend and Al Green released “Stay With Me (By the Sea)” in 2008.
In 2008, Legend also joined with legendary R&B singer Al Green to record the song “Stay With Me (By the Sea)”, which appeared on Green’s 2008 album. Lay it all down.
The song earned the couple the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group award at the 2009 Grammy Awards.
John Legend and The Roots released Wake up
Legend then partnered with beloved hip-hop group The Roots to record a joint album called Wake upwhich also featured vocals from Common and Malik Youssef, among others.
Released in September 2010, the album was politically inspired. “You would think that now that we have a black president, everything would be fine, but there are more racial tensions than ever before,” Legend said. Billboard after release. “A lot of people feel like they’re losing control of what America was. They yearn for a bygone era when America was whiter, when it was more Christian, when it was more this, more that—they yearn for a more Traditional America. You see this conversation, this battle that’s going on in America right now, so it feels like these songs are very relevant, even more so than in 2008.”
Wake up won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album in 2010, with “Shine” winning Best R&B Song and “Hang On In There” winning Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance.
John Legend Love in the future
Legend’s hit “All of Me” was the single on his 2013 album. Love in the future album, his fourth official studio album. “I feel like this is my best album,” Legend said. XXL. “The collaboration and talent we have on the album is better than ever as producers, co-writers and people just help shape the sound.”
Tracks included Love in the future featured Rick Ross, Stacy Bart and Seal. Legend’s performance of the live version of “All of Me” was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

Legend said that the time he spent making this album was special to him. “Looking back at 2013 when Chrissy Teigen and I got married, it was a great time for me creatively,” he said on Instagram. “Inspired by the love of my life, I wrote and recorded my fourth studio album. Love in the futureand declared it “the new year of love.”
John Legend and Common recorded for the film Fame. Selma
Legend teamed up with Common again to record the track “Glory” for the 2014 film. Selma, directed by Ava DuVernay. The resulting single won a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media. That same year, the song was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Rap Song category.
The duo also won an Academy Award for the hit single, earning an Oscar category on Legend’s EGOT.
John Legend Dark and light Album
Legend’s fifth studio album was released in December 2016. The lead single, “Love Me Now”, was released ahead of the album’s release in October 2016, and Legend performed the song on Voice’Season 11 finale with contestant Wee MacDonald.
Chance the Rapper, who will later join Voice as a coach, joined Legend as lead artist on the album’s second single, “Penthouse Floor”. Miguel and Brittany Howard were also featured as recording artists.
Legendary Christmas with John Legend
Looks a lot like a guy Voice Coached by Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Legend released a successful Christmas album in 2018 that changed the music of family holidays forever. The album included familiar favorites like “Silver Bells” and “O Come All Ye Faithful,” as well as Clarkson and Legend’s popular version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
John Legend performed “Higher” with DJ Khaled and Nipsey Hussle in 2019.
Legend appeared on DJ Khaled’s 2019 album. Assad’s fatheras vocalist on the track “Higher” alongside late rapper Nipsey Hussle. Hussle, whose name was Ermias Asghedom, was killed on March 31, 2019, shortly before Khaled released a song and video recorded before the rapper’s murder.
The song earned the trio a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Performance in 2020.
John Legend has been released Big love in 2020
In June 2020, Legend released the album. Big love after three of the album’s singles, “Conversations in the Dark”, “Actions” and “Bigger Love”, debuted as singles.
“This album is more focused on joy, love, hope and optimism,” he said. Billboard. “I think my last album (2016’s Darkness and Light) was kind of an album about anxiety about anxiety, and I definitely feel like both. I feel like the world needs joy.”
Legend won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album and his track “Lightning & Thunder” was nominated for Best R&B Performance.
John Legend album 2022 Legend
Eighth and final studio album by Legend Legend. The album included two separate discs of 12 songs each (24 tracks in total), as well as an entire solo piano version.
It also featured appearances from R&B icons Saweetie, Rick Ross, Rapsody, Jasmine Sullivan, Jhene Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign and many more.
Legend spoke to Billboard about his decision to use his name in the title, something artists tend to do on earlier releases. “Until now, I had never used part of my name as an album title. I had to earn it to live up to it with performance and music. And this is me saying that I’m proud of who I am, I’m confident in the work I’ve done and I’m just going to say it.”
