Star Wars: Ahsoka follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano, but not many details have been revealed in the official synopsis or even in the teaser: however, we do know that the story will start with Ahsoka investigating a nascent threat in a galaxy especially vulnerable this is a new stage without the Empire. In addition to Rosario Dawson as the title character, Ahsoka starred Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabina Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Beilan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hathi; Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyan, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. The series is written by Dave Filoni, who serves as executive producer along with Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.
Star Wars: Ahsoka premieres August 23 on Disney+.
Season 2 follows Carmen “Carmi” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sidney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they work to transform their seedy diner into a next-level restaurant. As they shed new light on the restaurant, the team embarks on a transformative journey as everyone is forced to confront the past and come to terms with who they want to be in the future. Of course, it turns out that only the opening of a new restaurant is more difficult, and the team has to combine the insane bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and at the same time the creative complexity of menu planning. This change also brings a new focus on hospitality. As employees are forced to work together in new ways, overcoming the limitations of their skills and attitudes, the team will also learn what it means to be of service to both customers and each other.
The complete second season of the FX original series will premiere on August 16.
In the third season, Charles, Oliver and Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) investigate a murder backstage at a Broadway show. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut was cut short by an untimely death. With the help of co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), the trio take on the toughest case they’ve ever faced as director Oliver desperately tries to rebuild his show. Raise the curtain!
The third season of the original series airs from August 8.
On film, the film was a success that can be defined as huge, grossing over $840 million, although it should be noted that these are far from the records set by the franchise. In general, it has been rated by both critics and the public: for example, on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a rating of 82% of critics and even 94% of the public. However, on Metacritic we have 64/100 and 8.0/10, respectively. All in all, it’s considered an adequate farewell to the heroes led by Peter Quill, albeit perhaps a little too bland.
Volume Three also represents another important farewell to director James Gunn, who directed all three films in the saga. Gunn left the Marvel Cinematic Universe for good in favor of an extremely ambitious new project, overseeing a reboot of the entire DC Extended Universe. In Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy 3, our favorite gang of misfits looks a little different. Still reeling from a terrible loss, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) engages his team in a risky and adrenaline-fuelled mission to protect the universe and protect the Rocket. Meanwhile, a new and unpredictable force threatens to destroy the Guardians once and for all.
The Marvel Studios movie will stream on August 2 exclusively on Disney+.
