Amber Heard breaks silence: ‘I’m an actress’

After months of talking about everything but professional life, Amber Heard returns to acting and does it in on fire, new film by the author Conor Allin. Introducing this new project, she sat down to chat with Timingexplaining her views on her future after her ex-husband’s trial Johnny Depp.

I just want to act in films and be appreciated as an actress. I don’t want to be crucified, to be valued as such. I control most of what comes out of my mouth,” said Amber Heard. But I can’t control how my pride in this project and everything we’ve put into this film is surrounded by other things.

It may not be obvious to others, but I have been playing my entire adult life, since I was 16. As crazy as it sounds, it means that I have many years of experience in this industry. I’m not saying that I have an amazing film career, but what I have, I created on my own, and it gave me a lot. The chances of this happening in this industry are very slim, but somehow I’m here. I think I have earned respect in this industry. This is very significant. What I went through, what I experienced, does not affect my career at all. And it certainly won’t stop my career.
